In Beast, Idris Elba plays Dr. Nate Samuels, a recently widowed doctor who brings his two daughters to a South African game reserve and then fights to keep them alive when a rogue lion starts hunting the family. This is the scene where it goes wrong inside the truck: the windshield cracked, the lion somewhere outside, Nate working a two-way radio for help while his girls press in beside him.

On the wrist holding that radio is a plain dress watch: a round steel case, a white dial with simple baton markers, maybe a small-seconds at six, on a worn brown leather strap. The brand never resolves on screen, and no costume note or watch source has named it. Idris Elba's own watch collection is well documented; this one isn't.
