Ice Cube wears a MTM Falcon

In Ride Along 2 (2016), Ice Cube's James Payton, the hard-nosed detective half of the buddy-cop pairing, wears an MTM Falcon. Kevin Hart's Ben Barber supplies the comedy; Payton is the wall he bounces off. Tim Story directed the sequel, which moves the action from Atlanta to Miami and a case built around a local drug lord.

The Falcon, in MTM's black-on-black finish, is a 44mm tactical watch with a quartz movement and the brand's signature trick: a built-in LED system that lights the dial in blue and doubles as a white-LED flashlight, run off a rechargeable battery. MTM logged the placement on its own site, down to the variant Ice Cube wore.
