Guy Ritchie shot The Man from U.N.C.L.E. in 2015 and set it in 1963, and the film is fussy about the year in a way that shows. Henry Cavill plays Napoleon Solo, a CIA agent and former art thief paired, against his wishes, with Armie Hammer's KGB man Illya Kuryakin to stop a nuclear plot. Cavill spends the film in immaculate tailoring, and in one stockroom scene he stands among shelves of boxes, straightening his tie, a gold watch and a gold ring catching the light on his hands.

That watch is a real piece of 1963. According to Men's Journal, the film's costume designer Joanna Johnston went into Omega's own archives to find the vintage gold chronograph Cavill wears, a yellow-gold case with a white dial, two sub-dials at three and nine, on a black leather strap. Casting Omega also matched the actor, who wears the brand off screen. The one thing nobody from the production ever pinned down is the exact model. Watch enthusiasts, squinting at the few clear shots, have settled on a 1963 Omega De Ville, reference BA 141.0009, as the most likely answer.
