Gilles Lellouche wears an Omega Speedmaster

Jean-Paul Rappeneau, the French director best known for Cyrano de Bergerac, made Belles Familles (2015), released in English as Families, after a twelve-year gap since his previous film. It is an ensemble piece: Jérôme Varenne, played by Mathieu Amalric, comes home from China when the family house in his old town is about to be sold, and the return pulls in a sprawl of relatives and old acquaintances. Nicole Garcia plays the matriarch, Suzanne Varenne. Gilles Lellouche plays Grégoire Piaggi, one of the figures swept up in the reunion.

The watch on Lellouche's wrist is an Omega Speedmaster, identified by the French site Montres-de-luxe, which notes it is worn on a black alligator strap rather than the usual steel bracelet. Omega launched the Speedmaster in 1957 as a chronograph for motor racing, and NASA's decision to qualify it for the Apollo missions turned it into the watch worn on the Moon. Beyond the brand and the strap, no source pins down which Speedmaster it is.
