Gerard Butler wears an Omega Speedmaster

Milo Boyd is a bounty hunter handed the one assignment built to ruin his week: bring in his own ex-wife. Gerard Butler plays him in Andy Tennant's The Bounty Hunter (2010), opposite Jennifer Aniston as Nicole, the bail-jumping journalist he is chasing up and down the East Coast while she chases a story of her own. It is a rom-com built on the premise that two people who can't stand each other might still want each other.

The watch on the record is an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch. The French magazine Montres-de-luxe, which wrote the film up, identified it as a steel Speedmaster on a steel bracelet, the chronograph Omega has billed as the Moonwatch since NASA qualified it for spaceflight in the 1960s. The same write-up notes that Butler wears a second watch in the film, a Rolex Explorer II, the one you can see on the poster.

That second watch matters here, because the wrist shots on hand are not the Speedmaster. In the racetrack scene Butler's watch has a pale dial, a smooth bezel, and no chronograph sub-dials, which reads as a Rolex rather than a Moonwatch, and the casino shot shows a similar steel-braceleted watch with the dial turned away. The Speedmaster is documented for the film, but the clear look in these frames belongs to the other watch.
