Gerard Butler plays Mike Banning, a Secret Service agent sidelined after a motorcade accident, who happens to be near the White House when North Korean terrorists seize it. Aaron Eckhart is the President. Morgan Freeman is the Speaker of the House running things from outside. Rick Yune plays the villain. The film came out the same year as White House Down, which told nearly the same story with Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx.
