Eric Bana wears a Hamilton Khaki Field

Bruce Banner spends Ang Lee's Hulk (2003) trying to stay contained. Eric Bana plays him as a careful research scientist with a childhood he cannot fully remember, a man who has turned the study of cellular repair into a way of not thinking about his own buried anger. Ang Lee shot the film as a psychological drama about repression and an absent father, and Bana keeps Banner quiet and watchful right up to the moment the green takes over.
