Emma Thompson wears a Hamilton Ventura

Emma Thompson is the only woman to wear the Hamilton Ventura in the Men in Black franchise, and she wears it as the person in charge. Agent O runs the entire organization in Men in Black 3, Barry Sonnenfeld's 2012 time-travel entry, and her Ventura Medium, reference H24411732, is the same asymmetrical shield-shaped quartz watch that has defined the series since Will Smith first put one on in 1997.

The Ventura has been a Hamilton signature since 1957, when it became the world's first electric watch. Elvis Presley wore one in Blue Hawaii. The MIB franchise turned it into something else entirely -- standard-issue government hardware for an agency that polices extraterrestrial immigration. Thompson's version is the standard stainless steel and black dial, no different from what Tommy Lee Jones and Smith wore. That is the point. Rank changes nothing about the uniform.
