Ed Quinn turns up in the third season of NCIS: New Orleans as Ethan McKinley, a man who vanished after stealing 80 million dollars in Hurricane Katrina relief money and resurfaces only because the team ties him to a murder. The complication is personal: the agent pulled into the case, Tammy Gregorio, is his ex-wife. The episode is 'Slay the Dragon,' first aired March 14, 2017. CBS ran the New Orleans branch of the franchise from 2014 to 2021, with Scott Bakula as the agent in charge, Dwayne Pride.
On his wrist, by MTM's account, is the Predator II. MTM Special Ops builds its watches in Los Angeles for a military look, and on the Predator II the part that backs that up is the light. It is tritium: small glass tubes of the gas are fixed to the hands and markers, and they glow green on their own for years, with no battery to charge and no button to press. The rest is specified to match. It runs a Swiss Ronda quartz chronograph, the case measures 44.5mm in steel or titanium, the crystal is sapphire, and it holds to 200 meters. A new one starts around 960 dollars.
So the show puts a 200-meter tactical chronograph on a man whose crime was accounting. McKinley did not storm a compound or dive a wreck. He moved relief money out of a flooded city and stayed gone, and a watch built for night work and deep water rides the wrist of a white-collar fugitive. MTM lists the placement on its own media page, one entry in a long roster of watches it has fitted to television, though no independent source has pinned down the scene the Predator II appears in.
