Dwayne Johnson wears a Panerai Luminor

Hank Parsons is the stepfather who signs on for the adventure to win the kid over. In Brad Peyton's 2012 family film Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Dwayne Johnson plays him as a former Navy man who joins his stepson Sean, played by Josh Hutcherson, on a hunt for Sean's missing grandfather, played by Michael Caine, across an island lifted from Jules Verne. Much of the film has the two of them scrambling over the island's strange terrain, including the moment where they crouch together on a rocky shore.

On Johnson's wrist in that scene is a large steel watch with a black dial, worn on a steel bracelet, a Panerai Luminor of the kind he is known to favor. Johnson is a serious watch collector with a deep bench of brands, and Panerai is among the ones he wears most often, on screen and off. The dial is not legible enough in the frame to pin down a reference, so the watch stands as a Panerai Luminor and no more.
