Dave Bautista wears a Panerai Luminor

By the second Escape Plan, Dave Bautista had moved to the front. In the 2013 original he had a supporting part beside Stallone and Schwarzenegger; in Escape Plan 2: Hades, Steven C. Miller's 2018 sequel, he carries the picture as Trent DeRosa, with Stallone's Ray Breslin running much of the operation from behind a screen. DeRosa's job is to break into Hades, a high-tech prison overseen by a villain called The Zookeeper, played by Titus Welliver, and pull out a kidnapped member of the team.

In one scene he leans against a bar, and a Panerai Luminor sits on his wrist: a cushion-cased watch with a black dial and luminous markers on a dark strap, the design Panerai built around its crown-protecting lever bridge. Bautista is a documented Panerai collector off screen, so the watch reads as much as the actor's own taste as the character's. The dial does not resolve clearly enough in the frame to fix a reference, so it stays a Panerai Luminor.
