Patrick Braoude wrote, directed, and starred in Neuf mois (1994), the French comedy later remade in Hollywood as Nine Months. He plays Samuel, a psychoanalyst thrown into a panic by the news that his girlfriend Mathilde (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) is pregnant. Daniel Russo plays Georges, already a father of three daughters with his wife Dominique (Catherine Jacob) and facing a fourth pregnancy with the calm of a man who has been through it before.
The Cartier Santos on Russo's wrist suits Georges's settled domesticity: formal enough for a man with a professional life, easygoing enough for a father chasing small children around the house. A watch-spotting site identifies it as a steel Santos, but it is not clearly visible in the available images, so the identification stays tentative.
