Clint Eastwood wears a Rolex GMT-Master

Wolfgang Petersen directed In the Line of Fire (1993). Clint Eastwood plays Frank Horrigan, a Secret Service agent who was on the Kennedy detail in Dallas and has carried thirty years of guilt over whether he could have moved faster. John Malkovich plays the assassin who taunts him by phone while stalking the current president.

On Horrigan's wrist is Eastwood's own Rolex GMT-Master "Root Beer," named for its two-tone brown and gold bezel and so associated with the actor that collectors sometimes call it the "Clint Eastwood." He received it from the longtime Rolex executive T. Walker Lloyd and wore it across several of his films. The GMT-Master's second time-zone hand suits a man who has spent his career on protective details, though here it is simply the watch Eastwood always wore.
