The Endicott is the one Oppenheimer wears to the Trinity test. Christopher Nolan placed this late-1930s Hamilton on Cillian Murphy's wrist for the Los Alamos sequences and the security clearance hearing, the two most important sections of the film. The Endicott has a black-and-white dial with applied numerals, simpler than the Art Deco Cushion B from the earlier timeline and more formal than the pre-war Lexington. It is the middle watch, chronologically and stylistically.

Hamilton produced the Endicott in the late 1930s, and the applied markers give it a cleaner look than the printed dials typical of the era. On Oppenheimer during the Trinity countdown, July 16, 1945, 5:29 a.m., Jornada del Muerto desert, the watch is visible as he checks the time before the detonation. Nolan shoots the sequence in IMAX with extended takes, and the Endicott gets a close-up that most watch brands would pay millions for.

The Endicott also appears in the hearing scenes opposite Robert Downey Jr.'s Lewis Strauss. The three-Hamilton progression across the film is one of the more thoughtful prop decisions in recent cinema, and the Endicott carries the scenes with the most weight.
