Robert Zemeckis directed Back to the Future Part II (1989) from a screenplay by Bob Gale, the middle film of the trilogy and the one that ties the timeline in knots: a 2015 future, an alternate 1985 where Biff has become a casino mogul, and a return into the events of 1955 from the first film. Christopher Lloyd plays Doc Brown, the one character who keeps the rules of all of it straight.
Doc is famous for wearing several watches at once. For Part II he has been identified as wearing a Citizen 3530, a late-1980s ana-digi with an analog face over a digital module. That identification comes from enthusiast sources rather than a definitive one, and accounts differ: auction records for the film describe a rubber "Wilson" prop watch on his right wrist in the 2015 scenes, so the Citizen reading is plausible but unconfirmed.
