Christopher Lee wears a Bueche Girod Bracelet Watch

Christopher Lee was Ian Fleming's step-cousin, and Fleming had wanted him for Dr. No in 1962, before the producers cast Joseph Wiseman instead. Lee finally got his Bond villain twelve years later. Guy Hamilton directed, his fourth Bond film, from a screenplay by Richard Maibaum and Tom Mankiewicz. Hervé Villechaize plays Nick Nack, Scaramanga's henchman, and Maud Adams plays Andrea Anders.

Scaramanga's watch is a flat gold bracelet piece, the case and band merging into one length of jewelry. Which gold watch it is, though, is disputed. BAMF Style reads it as a Bueche Girod, an old maker of gold dress watches, and points to the 18-karat ref. 750 as a close match; several watch sites call it a Rolex Cellini King Midas instead. The screen image does not settle it. Either way, the watch is gold, like the cigarette case, lighter, pen, and cufflink that assemble into Scaramanga's golden gun.
