Christian Bale wears an Android Alien AD52LTD

Kurt Wimmer wrote and directed Equilibrium, shot it in Berlin using the city's Brutalist architecture, and invented a martial arts discipline called Gun Kata for the fight sequences. The film made $5.3 million at the box office and found its actual audience on DVD. Christian Bale plays John Preston, a Grammaton Cleric who enforces a ban on human emotion in a dystopian future. Taye Diggs and Sean Bean round out the cast, with Bean doing what Bean does.
