Chris Evans wears an unidentified watch

Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini followed up American Splendor with The Nanny Diaries (2007), adapting the bestselling novel about a college anthropology major who takes a nannying job on the Upper East Side and discovers that rich Manhattan parents are as strange as any culture she could study. Scarlett Johansson plays Annie Braddock. Chris Evans plays Hayden, the charming neighbor she nicknames "Harvard Hottie" — a guy who exists mostly to be nice-looking and available at convenient moments, the kind of romantic interest that rom-coms used to drop in as a reward for the heroine's troubles.
