Charlize Theron wears an unidentified watch

Fast X turns Cipher from predator to prey. Dante Reyes buys her entire crew out from under her by kidnapping their families, and Charlize Theron spends one of the film's early scenes fighting her own soldiers hand to hand inside her own headquarters, ending up bloodied on Dominic Toretto's doorstep to warn him that Dante is hunting the family. The franchise's recurring cyberterrorist passes the film as a victim and, by the back half, a prisoner, breaking out of an Antarctic black site alongside Letty. Louis Leterrier directed, taking over after Justin Lin left a week into shooting.

In the middle of that headquarters brawl a watch is visible on Cipher's left wrist, a round head with a dark dial riding a dark strap, lit blue by the scene around it. What it is, nobody has established. The watch coverage around Fast X concentrated on the cast's real-life collections, Theron's Breitling ambassadorship and a paparazzi-shot Rolex Sea-Dweller among them, and never put a name to Cipher's screen watch; even the costume aggregators that catalog her jackets from the film list no watch at all. The frame is too dark and too fast to read a brand off the dial. So the identification stands open: a watch, plainly worn, that no source has named.
