The Whole Ten Yards (2004) is the sequel to The Whole Nine Yards (2000), directed by Howard Deutch, with Bruce Willis back as Jimmy "The Tulip" Tudeski, a retired contract killer, and Matthew Perry as Oz, the mild-mannered dentist from the first film. Oz drags Jimmy out of retirement to rescue Oz's pregnant wife after the Hungarian mob kidnaps her. It bombed, taking about $26 million worldwide against a $40 million budget and landing a 4 percent critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes.
The joke on Jimmy is that the most dangerous man from the first film has gone aggressively domestic. The still catches it: he stands in a fedora in a kitchen hung with copper pots, under a sign reading "Danger Men Cooking." On his wrist is a steel sports watch with a black dial on a metal bracelet. The maker has not been identified.
