Billy Magnussen wears an unidentified watch

The joke of Game Night is that nobody can tell when the game stops and reality starts. Billy Magnussen's Ryan is the purest expression of this — he shows up with a different date every week, volunteers for every challenge without understanding the stakes, and still manages to be the most likable person in the room. John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein directed the 2018 comedy, which is funnier than it has any right to be, partly because Magnussen commits fully to Ryan's obliviousness.

His watch hasn't been identified. Ryan is the sort of character who might wear anything from a fashion brand chronograph to a smartwatch — something picked for looks rather than function, matching whatever outfit seemed right that evening. The film doesn't linger on accessories, but given how much physical comedy Magnussen does — running, climbing, getting hit — whatever he's wearing takes some punishment.
