Sam Raimi's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) brings back the same Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar Cumberbatch wore in the 2016 original. The watch returns deliberately. Christine Palmer's inscription on the solid caseback ("Time will tell how much I love you") makes it the most narratively loaded prop in the MCU. There is a scene where Strange works on the broken watch with magnifying lenses, and Cumberbatch has described the moment as the character setting the timepiece, and himself, free.
The ref. 130842J is a 39mm steel perpetual calendar with moon phase at 12 o'clock and three subdials for day, date, and month. The continuity between films, despite Stephen Strange's transformation from neurosurgeon to sorcerer, suggests the JLC is the one artifact from his former life he hasn't let go of.
