Elvis Presley owned watches the way he owned Cadillacs, in quantity and often in gold. He wore a Hamilton Ventura in Blue Hawaii in 1961, and the Vegas years brought gold Omegas and Rolexes. Austin Butler plays him across three decades in Baz Luhrmann's biopic, narrated by Tom Hanks's Colonel Tom Parker. In one Vegas-era shot, Butler rides in the back of a Lincoln in aviators and diamond rings, a gold watch on his wrist.
BAMF Style identified one of Elvis's screen watches as a gold chronograph, a black dial with two white sub-registers on a gold expanding band. No source names its brand. Catherine Martin, who dressed the film and won an Oscar for it, built the wardrobe from the Graceland archives and old footage, evoking Elvis's real watches rather than reissuing specific models, which is why the chronograph can be described but not named.
