Steven Soderbergh's The Laundromat (2019) turns the Panama Papers into a fourth-wall-breaking lecture, with Antonio Banderas and Gary Oldman as Ramon Fonseca and Jurgen Mossack, the founders of the law firm at the center of the leak, narrating the audience through shell companies and offshore accounts in a series of flamboyant tuxedos.
Fonseca's watch is a Patek Philippe, but which one is unsettled. It appears only briefly, and the two sources that name it disagree. The French site Montres de Luxe calls it a white-gold Calatrava, while the listings behind Product Placement Blog and Spotern match it to a 5140J perpetual calendar in yellow gold. Neither is a primary watch source, and the glimpse is too quick to settle the question, so the safe identification stops at the brand.
