Antoine de Caunes plays Bruno Tellier in 48 heures par jour, Catherine Castel's 2008 French comedy. His wife Marianne (Aure Atika), an advertising executive worn down by running the household on top of her own career, fakes a long work assignment abroad and leaves, forcing Bruno to take over the children and the domestic work he had always left to her.

A French watch publication identified the watch on his wrist as a Grande Reverso Sun Moon, though it is not clearly legible in the available stills. Jaeger-LeCoultre designed the original Reverso in 1931 for polo players, who needed a case they could flip face-down to protect the crystal from a stray ball or mallet. The Sun Moon version keeps that swivelling case and adds a day-and-night indicator and a power-reserve scale to the dial.
