Andrew Garfield wears an unidentified watch

In Hacksaw Ridge, Andrew Garfield plays Desmond Doss, the Seventh-day Adventist conscientious objector who served as an army medic at Okinawa and saved dozens of wounded men without ever carrying a gun. The film follows him from enlistment through a court-martial for refusing to handle a weapon to the battle itself.

On Doss's wrist through much of it is a plain military field watch, a round case with a dark dial on a dark strap, the standard look of a 1940s serviceman's watch. The dial is not legible enough to read a maker, and no source firmly documents the prop, so it stays an unidentified field watch.
