Jon Gunn's Ordinary Angels (2024) tells the true story of Ed Schmitt, a Kentucky widower whose young daughter needed a liver transplant the family could not afford, and Sharon Stevens (Hilary Swank), the hairdresser who rallied a town to raise the money.
