Al Pacino plays Arthur Kirkland, a Baltimore defense lawyer who still believes the courts are supposed to mean something, in Norman Jewison's ...And Justice for All. The film, written by Barry Levinson and Valerie Curtin, spends two hours testing that belief.
Arms folded, Kirkland wears a gold dress watch on a dark leather strap: a round case, a pale ringed dial, slim baton markers. Elsewhere in the film he wears a second watch, gold on a gold bracelet, so the costume was not consistent from scene to scene. Neither dial carries a brand the camera can read.
A model name does circulate for this watch, a Hamilton Thin-O-Matic, but it traces to a single hedged guess on a watch forum rather than to anyone reading the dial. No reliable source identifies the maker, and the dial, legible as it is, never shows a name.
