Adam West wears a Rolex Day-Date

Batman: The Movie (1966) reached theaters two months after the first season of the television series ended, with Leslie H. Martinson directing Adam West and Burt Ward against all four of the show's marquee villains at once: Cesar Romero's Joker, Burgess Meredith's Penguin, Frank Gorshin's Riddler, and Lee Meriwether stepping in as Catwoman. It is the film in which Batman, dangling from a helicopter with a rubber shark clamped on his leg, is saved by a can of bat-shark repellent, after which the shark explodes.

The watch claim here is really about the actor. Adam West owned a yellow gold Rolex Day-Date on its President bracelet and wore it constantly off screen, and the watch-collecting press has noted that it occasionally turned up on Bruce Wayne's wrist during his years in the role. That is the shape of the evidence: a well-documented personal watch and a general habit, rather than a frame from this particular film that anyone has published. In the available stills from the movie, Wayne's shirt cuffs keep the wrist covered. The gold President is entirely in character for a millionaire who answered the Batphone in a tuxedo, and somewhere in the footage it may well flash into view, but no one has yet pinned it to a scene.
