Adam Sandler wears a Hamilton Khaki Action

Christopher Walken hands Adam Sandler a universal remote in the back room of a Bed Bath & Beyond, and from there Click (2006) turns into something far stranger than its premise. Frank Coraci's film follows Michael Newman, an overworked architect who finds the remote can fast-forward through anything he finds tedious, from arguments and traffic to whole years of his life. It works until it begins choosing for him, jumping past his father's last days, his children growing up, and his marriage falling apart.

On Newman's wrist is a steel Hamilton from the Khaki line, identified by the French film-watch site Montres de Luxe as a Khaki Action. Hamilton started out making railroad watches in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 1892, and supplied the American military through both World Wars; the Khaki series descends from those issued field watches, built around a plain, legible dial. The watch on screen reads as exactly that, a steel-braceleted field watch with a light dial, though it never comes close enough to the camera to confirm the exact Khaki model by sight.
