Adam Driver wears an IWC Pilot's Watches

Shawn Levy gathered Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, Adam Driver, Jane Fonda, and Corey Stoll as a dysfunctional family sitting shiva together for a week, adapting Jonathan Tropper's novel. Driver plays Phillip, the youngest Altman sibling, the family screwup who turns up with his much-older therapist girlfriend and no intention of growing up.

On Phillip's wrist is an IWC Big Pilot, a large watch of around 46 millimeters with an oversized onion crown. It descends from the observation watches IWC built for pilots in the 1940s, sized so a navigator could read and set them in gloves. The Big Pilot turns up often in American films, a function of IWC's long habit of lending watches to Hollywood productions.
